Making a wall mount
Having decided on the dimensions, you can prepare the desired pipe. Next comes the marking for the holes. On the pipe itself, you need to make holes with a diameter of 10 mm for mounting a TV, and for wall mounting - three more with a diameter of 8 mm.
They are marked at the same distance from each other and from the edges of the pipe.
The grooves for mounting the TV should be twisted, this will exclude accidental lifting or displacement.
The pipe can be attached to the wall with different devices. If it is brick, then it is better to use dowel-nails, if it is wooden, then with self-tapping screws. The main thing is to complete the main task - a strong fastening. Then the workpiece can be brought into a noble look by painting it. This rectangular pipe piece will be attached to the wall.
Securing parts to the TV
- bolts - 2 pieces with a diameter corresponding to the thread for mounting on the TV (in this case, 20 mm M5 grade);
- washers - 4 pieces with an inner diameter of 5 mm, an outer diameter of 20 mm;
- rubber bushings with an inner diameter of 5 mm, with an outer diameter of 10 mm, they must match the diameter of the grooves in the pipe.
If necessary, the TV mount on the wall can be tilted, for this one of the bolts can be used longer, and a locknut can be installed on it, which will regulate the rotation.
Manufacturing of stops
In order for the bolts to gently rest against the wall, you can put on rubber pads on them, which can be made from scrap materials, for example, from an old hose from a car. Two screws with stops and bolts with washers and bushings are installed on the TV. The TV comes with special fastening tapes, they also need to be fixed.

How do I hide cables?
