Conducting electricity to the site. How much does it cost to conduct electricity on the site

How much does it cost to conduct electricity to the site and how to do it? This issue is quite relevant not only for many owners of summer cottages, but also for those who have received land for individual housing construction.

How to bring light to the site?

If the site is located in a populated area and does not belong to either a garden or a dacha partnership, then the owners will have to act independently. In order to conduct light to the site, it is necessary to collect all the necessary documents and apply with them to the RES (district power grids).

Power consumption

It is important to determine in advance the power consumption. For country houses, this figure may be different. The calculation of the total electricity consumption is carried out with a decent margin, since with the purchase of new household appliances, the amount of electricity consumed increases. There can be much more devices that work from the network than the owners of suburban areas suggest. In addition to household appliances, electricity can be used:

  • for connecting motors (designed, for example, for opening garage doors or for watering, etc.);
  • functioning of video surveillance or alarm system;
  • heating in the water pool;
  • launching garden tools (lawn mowers, trimmers, etc.);
  • lighting fountains, paths, detached buildings.

Connection steps

The process of connecting the site to the power grid (how much it costs to conduct electricity to the site, we will consider below) can be divided into two stages:

  1. Obtaining permission from the relevant organization.
  2. Performing technical work.

Paperwork

To connect to the electricity section, you first need to obtain permits. To do this, you should visit an organization that deals with electrification and submit the relevant documents:

  1. Statement of the desire to conduct a section of the power line belonging to you.
  2. Documents confirming the right to own this land plot.
  3. A plan of the land plot to which it is planned to supply electricity, indicating various engineering networks (water, gas pipelines ...).
  4. Depending on which organization conducts the connection, other documents may also be requested, so it is better to clarify in advance what will be needed in addition to the above.

After receiving (about a month after submitting the documentation) the technical specifications, you can begin to develop a project for which the electrification of the site will be carried out. After drawing up, it must be agreed with the power supply organization. The execution of the same work can be entrusted to the design bureau or the same power supply organization. In this case, you will save a lot of time and be sure of the correctness of the documentation.

When choosing a designer, you need to pay attention to 2 criteria:

  • a complete list of services provided;

After supplying electricity to the site, documents confirming the completion of work are drawn up and signed (the act of technological connection, the act of dividing the boundaries, the act of fulfilling technical conditions, the protocol for measuring the operation of electrical equipment, the test report).

Conducting electricity to the site is carried out by one of two methods:

  • underground;
  • air.

Air connection method

This is the fastest and cheapest method that does not require excavation. But there is one significant drawback - the negative impact of natural factors: rain, snow, wind. Therefore, you need to use only special waterproof fittings.

Due care must be taken not to break the cable, as this can lead to loss of life. The optimal length of the suspended cable is no more than 15 meters. Otherwise, there is a possibility of its breakage as a result of icing or under a load of snow.

Light on the site is carried out using a special main elements of which are conductive conductors, polyethylene insulation and a cable that increases the strength characteristics of the cable.

Underground connection method

This technology is more labor intensive and expensive. Here you will have to carry out earthworks. The positive aspect of this method is that laying an electric cable in a trench is the safest, since there will be no need to worry about the negative effects of natural factors. In addition, any vehicle can enter the site.

The excavation work is carried out in stages:

  1. Digging a trench 70-80 cm deep.
  2. Sand is poured in a layer of about 15-20 cm.
  3. Glass, stones and other debris that can damage the cable are removed.

For the underground method of conducting electricity, a wire is used without a special cable or conductive wires. As a rule, this is a two-phase cable that is rated for 220 V. But in the event that equipment that consumes 360 V is used, an appropriate three-phase cable and meter will be needed.

The laying of the electrical wire is carried out in a corrugated pipe. You don't need to pull it hard. The wire laid in the pipe is covered with a layer of sand (about 15 cm).

To protect against accidental damage to the wire, you can lay bricks or pieces of ceramic tiles on top of the sand.

When performing work on connecting electricity, the following safety rules must be strictly observed:

  • do not lay the cable during precipitation;
  • when working, wear special electrician gloves and dry shoes with rubberized soles.

Mandatory requirements for work

There are several mandatory requirements, without which the power grid specialists will not accept the work of conducting electricity to the land plot.

  1. The distance between the posts should not exceed 15 meters.
  2. From the pillars to the house, the distance should be at least 10 meters.
  3. From the cable to buildings, buildings and tree crowns, the distance should be more than 1.5 meters.
  4. The height from the road to the cable must be at least 6 m.
  5. The wire to the wall must be attached at a height of up to 2.75 m.
  6. It is forbidden to connect the wire above the roof of the house.

How much does it cost to run electricity to the site?

The very technological connection of electricity to the site from the pole depends on a number of indicators:

  • distance from the site to the source of electricity (in rural areas it should be at least 500 meters, and in the city - at least 300 meters);
  • connection region (for example, in Moscow it is much more expensive to connect than in Kamchatka);
  • type of connection (existing or new), a simple reconnection will cost less;
  • voltage level.

The minimum cost of connecting light in 2016 was 500 rubles.

Building your own with the installation of special supports can result in a rather large amount, the amount of which depends on:

  • the number of supports;
  • installation cost;
  • the cost of materials.

All work on the construction of your power transmission line can cost several tens or even hundreds of thousands of rubles.

Equipment inside the house also costs a lot of money, but not so much. If you save on the cost of equipment, then you can meet about 10 thousand rubles. You also need to add to this the cost of technical conditions (and the prices for their production are very different), so the question of price, that is, how much it costs to conduct electricity to the site, needs to be checked with local power engineers.
