Step 5: prepare the loaf.


To make cutlets, we need bread. Therefore, first of all, with the help of clean hands, we tear it into pieces and put it in a deep bowl. Note: The loaf can also be laid out on a cutting board and cut into medium pieces using a kitchen knife.

Step 6: prepare the milk.


Pour milk into a small saucepan or turkey and put on medium heat. We heat the contents of the container literally 1-2 minutes. Attention: the liquid must be hot enough. When it reaches this temperature, turn off the hotplate and immediately proceed to the next cooking process.

There are two options for preparing minced meat. The first is using a blender. To do this, in turn, put the pieces of beef and pork in small portions into the bowl of the electrical appliance and grind at high speed until smooth. Transfer the finished mixture to a medium bowl using a tablespoon.

I like the first option more, but there is also a second one for those who, unfortunately, do not have a blender. We put pieces of meat in a meat grinder and grind to the state of minced meat, be sure to use a fine grate. Important: in this option, you can grind the pork and beef twice so that the pieces do not come across in the cutlets.

Now add chopped garlic, onion, salt and black pepper to taste, as well as bread and milk mass to the bowl with the meat mixture. Attention: if milk remains at the bottom of the bowl, we also pour it to all the ingredients. Then, using clean hands or a tablespoon, mix the contents of the bowl thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed. That's it, the minced meat for the cutlets is ready, so you can start cooking!

Before cooking the patties, we need to shape the minced meat.
